In ARCH302 couse, we focused on some part of the winery project and details of the projects were studied as sketch problem. In sketch problem 1, we focused on the tank room which is the first stage of fermentation.

PROSteel / Site Analysis

The first project of this semester is to design a city market hall which is for an architectural student competition named as PROSteel. A steel structured market hall will be designed and it will be also used for social and cultural places of the city. The site is chosen by competitors. As an group, we have chosen a site in Polatlı.

The area was used to be used as an open market place for a long time that has a huge effect on its environment. The location of the area is very close to the city center. The traffic is heavy at the front of the area where exists bus station. Around the area, there is a homogeneous distribution of the houses and shops.
