Instascape-Variations

In addition to the initial instance that we had produced (Instascape), we produced 3-4 variations of this instance.Variations should be defined by taking into consideration the changing spatial conditions and experiences. And also, we were required to change the thickness of at least one plane in each instance.

Keywords of my initial instance are centrality, dominancy, dense and sparse.Its hashtag is centrality. I focused on my hashtag and keywords while producing variations. I produced 3 variations; first one has a center.I mean there is a dominant part.Second one has two dominant parts.And the last one, there isn’t any dominant part.

Instascape

This semester, we started to read given the book Invisible Cities by Italo Calvino (1972). This book helped to us define and interpret an instance of spatial experiences. Then we was asked to interpret the instance that we have derived from the text, and study its spatial conditions though intersecting planar elements. We produced a 3D construct by using min.8 and max. 10 rectangular elements.

First I have produced instances;

After than, we revised this assigment with some key words and we produced our initial instance. We were expected to an instance with a hashtag and keywords which helped to us. My hashtag was centrality and my keywords were centrality, dense/sparse and dominancy. According to these keywords, I produced this.
